Villa del Mito is an excellent base to reach easily Syracuse’s historic centre and the lovely sandy beaches of Arenella and Fontane Bianche. A short drive away are also the charming baroque towns of Noto, Modica and Scicli, the nature reserves of Cavagrande del Cassibile and Vendicari, Marzamemi, Portopalo di Capo Passero, Mount Etna and Taormina.

Policies
A deposit of 25% of the total rental amount is due at the time a booking is confirmed and it is not refundable. The balance is due no later than 75 days prior arrival. For bookings confirmed less than 75 days prior arrival, the full rental amount is due at confirmation.

Beautiful views but quite isolated so you need to drive everywhere - Siracusa about 15 mins away

A nice villa in a beautiful location; all facilities can be done easily with a car. Syracuse and Noto within driving distance and easily accessible.
If you are looking for beaches, it is a bit more difficult to find them. The coast is rocky with pointed rocks. Very clear water.
Comfy beds and a very nice outdoor kitchen with BBQ and oven. This is almost always out of the wind, so you can stay outside for a long time.
The only downside is that the lighting is not really attractive. Nice and quiet on top of a hill overlooking the sea (sunrise can be seen from the villa).
Lovely outdoor kitchen, fully equipped with BBQ and wood-burning oven, also a regular oven and dishwasher.
We were one of the first guests in the new season. Excellent swimming pool with sunbeds. Parasol by the pool was defective (we could repair it ourselves). Remote control air conditioning not optimal. We were greeted nicely by the key holder with an explanation of the facilities.

Die Villa ist wirklich wundervoll und empfehlenswert. Pool und Küche kann man in vollen Zügen geniessen. Der Sonnenaufgang erwacht auf Poolseite. Supermarkt und leckere Pizza im selben Dorf. Gut gelegen um diverse Touren zu unternehmen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Danke und Grüsse. Roberto
